Client Brief

Northern Touch Truck Wash (NTTW) is a Canada-based company that provides professional washing and cleaning services for trucks, trailers, RVs, and motor homes across multiple locations in Canada. They wanted to upgrade their existing accounting software and POS system to proactively manage their financial processes.

Scope of Work

The client was facing several challenges with their existing accounting software and POS system. They sought our ERP development services to migrate their accounting and POS data from its existing tech stack to Odoo. Furthermore, the scope of work required us to customize the Odoo modules as per their needs while addressing the following requirements:

  • A custom Odoo accounting module was required for billing/invoicing and receipt generation
  • Customizations were required to automate their backend processes
  • Customizations were required for analytics and reporting in Odoo

Our Solution

We used a technology stack consisting of Python, XML Templating, Odoo, PostgreSQL to overcome our client’s challenges and address their requirements with the following deliverables:

  • Fixed and resolved the receipt print issue
  • Installed the Odoo Accounting module and made necessary customisations
  • Provided the training on how to use the Accounting module
  • We tested their Point of Sale (PoS) system and other modules including inventory, purchasing, and the accounting module
  • Made customizations in the accounting module to automate invoice payments and POS order payments
  • Made customisations to ‘Auto Download’ the invoice receipt when Void
